1. It’s Sandsational\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Remember all the amateur-ish sandcastles we built when we were younger? This September, we\u2019ll get to marvel at 30 larger-than-life sand sculptures fashioned by the pros.<\/p>\n

These stunning sculptures are the work of award-winning Singaporean sand sculptor JOOheng and his team of international sculptors. Dubbed Vincent Sand<\/em> Gogh by London Daily Mail, JOOheng\u2019s sand sculptures have been showcased in over 20 countries.<\/p>\n

If you think these sand sculptures look impressive under the sun\u2019s strong beams, wait till you see them at night! Come sunset, the sculptures will be bathed in a soft glow from spotlights. 15 of these sculptures were inspired by our unique local culture, quirks and slangs, so don\u2019t be surprised if you spot a Roti Prata Uncle<\/em> sculpted in sand.<\/p>\n

As part of the sandsational programme, Sentosa is offering free entry to local residents from 4th to 10th September. This includes cable car rides within Sentosa (1-way on Sentosa line) during this period! There are also plenty of discounts offered at eateries, Wave House Sentosa, and even staycation packages here!<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Merlion Magic Lights<\/span><\/h2>\n

Zhenghua Hiking Club is organising a hike to Chinatown, but be warned, this journey stretches over 20km! While it\u2019ll be fun to learn about the Chinatown district in a group, there\u2019s an alternative for those who want a more chill, <\/em>laid-back experience.<\/p>\n
