1. Mermaid Tank Installation @ ION<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As part of ION Orchard\u2019s 10th\u00a0<\/sup>anniversary celebrations, the mall is setting up its first-ever mermaid tank installation – complete with live mermaids.<\/p>\n

The installation is part of ION Orchard\u2019s Spring\/Summer fashion season, a vibrant collision of nature and undersea fantasy.<\/p>\n

As the outdoor space transforms into a dreamlike fashion garden, the centerpiece is, of course, the purpose-built mermaid aquarium tank\u20142.4 metres tall and containing some 8,000 litres of seawater.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just all passive gawking through the glass too. The installation includes a special optical-illusion see-through water ceiling within the aquatic garden, accented with floral backdrops and photo-ready false greenery.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s on weekends so feel free to stop by the glittering mirror-panelled facade for selfies and meet-and-greets with the mermaid.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the show is an exhibition catalogue presented as an adult picture book, with words by local cultural critic Reena Devi weaving new life and stories into Qoror\u2019s images.<\/p>\n
