Celebrating The End Of Food Waste

Source

When asked for a solution to target the global issue of famine, some people will say we should increase food production. But the fact is: we already grow enough food. The problem is that we waste a third of the food produced, and in affluent countries, we eat more than what is good for us.

Source

Campaigner and National Geographic Explorer Tristram Stuart is on a mission to eliminate food waste, by exposing the most shocking and obviously insane instances of food waste.

In Singapore, the amount of food waste generated has increased by about 40% over the past 10 years and is expected to increase with our growing population and economic activity. Find out how we can make a change at Stuart’s Nat Geo Live session. Tickets available from Sistic here.
